With just 38 guests, enjoy modern rooms, scenic views from your verandah or the lounges, and a riverside campfire with a chef-prepared welcome dinner before settling in for the night.
After breakfast, cruise to Perricoota Station and transfer to Murray Gums Estate for a guided walk highlighting Indigenous heritage. Enjoy a gourmet lunch and regional wine tasting before returning to Perricoota Station to explore its historic buildings and gardens. Conclude the day on board with dinner on deck and a documentary on the Murray River’s paddle steamers and communities.
Cruise through wildlife-rich Perricoota this morning, taking in the stunning scenery from the PS Australian Star’s panoramic viewing points. Enjoy lunch on deck or in Randell’s Dining Room. Tonight, savour an Australian BBQ on the riverbank, followed by live entertainment and a cosy campfire (weather permitting).
After breakfast, explore Echuca on the Henry Hopwood Town Tour, seeing landmarks like Hopwood’s Punt and the historic pontoon bridge. Enjoy morning tea aboard the 1912-built PS Canberra, then take some free time to wander before returning to the PS Australian Star for lunch. Set sail upstream past the iconic Echuca Wharf.
Today, explore spectacular silo art in Rochester and Colbinabbin, where vibrant murals celebrate the region’s heritage and wildlife. Enjoy an authentic pub lunch with locals at the Colbinabbin Hotel, then relax aboard the PS Australian Star as you cruise downstream. Tonight, delight in a riverside BBQ and evening campfire entertainment at Layfield Lane.
After breakfast, visit the Great Aussie Beer Shed & Heritage Farm Museum to explore the region’s history. Return briefly to the PS Australian Star for a wine tasting at St Anne’s Vineyards before enjoying afternoon tea as you cruise in comfort toward Deep Creek Marina.
Cruise downstream to Torrumbarry Weir and enjoy a guided walk across the historic structure, followed by a visit to the Interpretive Centre to explore the century-old lock system and the Murray-Darling Basin.
