This morning, explore Auckland’s highlights on a guided city tour before personalising your day with a Freedom of Choice experience. This evening, celebrate the New Year with a special dinner at Eight Restaurant and enjoy the unique excitement of welcoming the year ahead in the first country to do so.

Depart Auckland and travel to Rotorua, famed for its extraordinary geothermal landscapes and rich Māori heritage. En route, enjoy a memorable Signature Experience that brings a touch of movie magic to life.

Spend the day discovering the many wonders of Rotorua. Enjoy the lively Agrodome Farm Show and visit The National Kiwi Hatchery, then continue to the mineral-rich Te Puia Thermal Reserve, famed for its powerful geothermal activity and healing waters. This evening, a Signature Experience offers an enriching immersion into Māori culture.

Travel south today toward Wellington, pausing at Huka Falls to witness the powerful rush of water through its narrow gorge. Continue along the shores of Lake Taupō, New Zealand’s largest lake, framed by a striking volcanic landscape. Later, arrive in the vibrant capital city of Wellington.

This morning, discover the highlights of New Zealand’s capital on a guided sightseeing tour, including iconic landmarks such as Mount Victoria and the vibrant waterfront. Take a scenic ride on the historic Wellington Cable Car for sweeping city views. Later, board the Coral Adventurer, your home for the next 10 nights. As you depart Tamatea, enjoy a prime view from deck as the captain navigates the stunning Acheron Passage, revealing breathtaking fjord scenery at every turn.

Relax on deck or in the observation lounge as the captain guides the ship through ‘The Gut,’ a narrow passage from Thompson Sound into Doubtful Sound.
